Stephen McKenzie, 52, of Garrock Place, admitted at Dundee Sheriff Court that he had repeatedly sent electronic text messages to Patricia Baxter. The offence happened at Annan Terrace on April 11. The messages were of a grossly offensive or indecent, obscene or menacing character, the court heard. Sheriff Alastair Brown placed McKenzie on a community payback order, which will be under supervision, for two years. The sheriff also placed a requirement on McKenzie that he undergoes mental health treatment, for the same period of time. This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website.
