Dundee man stole groceries from Asda

Paul Butchart, 44, of Adamson Court, Kirk Street, Lochee, had sentence deferred until August for him to be of good behaviour.

Butchart admitted stealing a quantity of groceries at Asda, Myrekirk, on February 5.

His not guilty plea to another charge of shoplifting from the same supermarket the following day was accepted by the Crown.

Sentence was deferred until August 15.
