A woman who admitted breaching eight community payback orders dating back to 2015 was given one final chance to address her drug problem.
Tracy Laurie, 38, of Aboyne Avenue, was told by Sheriff George Way that she had reached a line in the sand and if she did not comply with a drug treatment and testing order over the next two years she faced coming back before him and being given a custodial sentence.
Laurie had previously admitted that on October 21 last year, at Claire’s Accessories in the Wellgate Centre, she stole jewellery.
She was also found to have breached the community orders by failing to comply with social workers.
Sentence was also deferred on the shoplifting charge by Sheriff Way until July 4.
