A teenager has been charged following the death of a man involved in a road incident in Dundee city centre.
Scott Millar, 33, died in Ninewells Hospital after he was allegedly struck by a car in Argyllgait around 1.30am on Monday.
The incident happened when the area was busy with clubbers leaving nearby nightclubs following Dundee Dance Event.
A spokesman for the force said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 17-year-old man arrested after a road traffic collision in Argyllgait, Dundee, on May 7 has been charged with a number of road traffic offences, and has been released from custody to be reported to the procurator fiscal.
“Inquiries are continuing.”
