Clark Smith, 27, of Dundee Survival Group in Foundry Lane, was given unpaid work by Sheriff John Rafferty at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Smith admitted breaching a community payback order imposed for committing a breach of the peace at Lloyd’s Pharmacy in High Street, Lochee, on September 2 last year.
He had admitted asking members of the public to obtain clean syringes and needles for him as he was banned from entering the pharmacy and that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, entered the shop, shouted and swore, uttered derogatory remarks and pressed his face against the window.
He also admitted breaching a bail condition as well as failing to appear at court for a previous diet.
Sheriff Rafferty ordered him to undertake 100 hours unpaid work.
