A man is due in court over an alleged chainsaw attack at a Dundee golf course.
Police have confirmed that a 44-year-old man has been charged following an incident at Caird Park yesterday.
A statement from the force said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 44-year-old man who was arrested yesterday in connection with an incident in Caird Park, Dundee, has been charged with relevant offences, and is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court later today.”
A 67-year old man, understood to have been golfing on the course at the time, was taken to Ninewells Hospital with “serious but not life-threatening” injuries.
