A second man has been charged in connection with the death of a 26-year-old man in Alyth two months ago.
John Donachy, who was from Dundee, died from multiple stab wounds at a property in Hazel Court on March 3.
A 35-year-old man was arrested and charged in the days after his death, and a 36-year-old man has now also been charged.
A statement from Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that a second person has been charged in connection with the death of a 26-year-old man in Perthshire earlier this year.
“The body of John Donachy was found at a flat in Alyth on Saturday March 3.
“Another man, aged 36, has now been arrested and charged in connection and is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court.
“Once again we would like to thank the local community and public for their patience and information provided while our inquiries have been carried out.”
