Officers allegedly seized £4,500 of cocaine from a hotel room at the Craigtay Hotel on Broughty Ferry Road yesterday. It’s understood police attended the premises after a call from staff members. Two 21-year-olds and a 23-year-old were charged and arrested by officers following the swoop at around 3pm. They are due to appear in court tomorrow in relation to the matter. One witness described seeing officers outside the hotel around the time. He said: “I was driving past and noticed a number of police vehicles in the car park. “I saw three officers outside, they were wearing blue gloves and seemed to be examining something.” This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website.
