A serial shoplifter has had sentence deferred on another store theft offence, after a sheriff heard he was on remand awaiting sentence on three previous charges.
William Young, 32, of Gullane Place in Dundee, admitted that on January 26 this year, at Boots on Kingsway West, he stole a quantity of razor blades and a quantity of fragrances.
Young had sentence deferred until May 9 for the outcome of the other matters which he previously admitted.
He admitted that on March 18 and again April 7, at Sainsbury’s in Tom Johnston Road, he stole alcohol, while on bail.
He further admitted going back to the same store and causing a breach of the peace on April 14.
Sheriff Lorna Drummond ordered him to appear personally for sentence on May 9.
