Man ‘trying to give up smoking’ pinched Nicorette sprays from Dundee supermarket

David Cahill, 39, of Laing Place, had sentence deferred for reports.

Cahill admitted that on March 17, at Asda, Milton of Craigie, he stole two Nicorette Sprays.

The court heard the sprays were worth £44 and there was full recovery.

Solicitor advocate Jim Laverty told the court Cahill was trying to give up smoking.

Sentence was deferred until May 14 and he was granted bail.
