A 38-year-old man was placed on a community payback order under supervision for 18 months after admitting stalking.
Michael Sword, of Logan Terrace, originally appeared on indictment at Dundee Sheriff Court but the case was reduced to a summary complaint.
He admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, attending the home of a woman uninvited, repeatedly sending grossly offensive texts and pictures and repeatedly phoning her and asking why she was ignoring him at St Kilda Road on November 7 and 8 last year, while on bail.
He also admitted breaching bail conditions by entering St Kilda Road and repeatedly phoning and sending texts and pictures on the same dates.
Sheriff Tom Hughes ordered Sword to participate in the Respect programme.
