Michael Dwyer, 27, of Helmsdale Drive, was fined a total of £400 for motoring offences.
Dwyer had previously admitted that he drove his car without insurance in South Road on November 28 last year, while he was on bail.
He also admitted driving without a full licence and without a qualified driver accompanying him and failing to display L-plates at the same place on the same date, also while on bail.
His former co-accused Nadia Karim, 27, of Grampian Gardens, had denied causing or permitting Dwyer to drive without insurance and without a licence or a qualified driver beside him and driving without displaying L-plates.
She had her not guilty pleas to those charges accepted by the Crown at a previous hearing.
