A woman has appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court accused of a string of housebreakings across the city and stealing a large amount of property.
Twenty-five-year-old Stephanie Marshall is alleged to have, while acting with another person, stolen clothing, electrical equipment, computer equipment, cash, jewellery and camera equipment over the course of six days.
Marshall is accused of breaking into a property in Cunningham Street, Stobswell, on March 9 and stealing a quantity of clothing, aftershave, electrical equipment, jewellery, pens, a vacuum cleaner and other items.
She is also accused of breaking into a property at Barns Neuk, Emmockwoods, on March 10.
It is alleged the householder was woken up just after 5am by someone smashing the patio doors of the house.
Items including a handbag, a purse, a sum of money, keys, a watch, an iPad and other goods were all alleged to have been stolen.
It is also alleged that Marshall broke into a property in Mayfield Grove last Wednesday.
She is accused of stealing a quantity of electronic equipment, jewellery, watches and other items from the property.
It is further alleged that Marshall broke into a property in Commercial Street last Thursday and stole a quantity of electronic equipment, CCTV cameras, clothing, books and other items.
Marshall, of Cunningham Street, Stobswell, appeared in private before Sheriff George Way on a petition alleging the offences.
She made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
Marshall was granted bail by Sheriff Way.
It is understood a man was also arrested by police and charged with the same offences.
He was due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court yesterday.
