Man told to stay at home in evenings after stealing from Dundee Lidl

Mark Warren, 42, of Adamson Court, was placed on a restriction of liberty order for four months after he admitted a shoplifting charge.

Warren admitted that on February 18, at Lidl, South Road, he stole a quantity of food, groceries and other goods.

The court heard the value of the goods was put at £22.64 and there was full recovery.

Sheriff Alastair Carmichael told Warren he must stay at his home address between 7pm-7am daily.
