A Perthshire man who possessed cocaine in Dundee city centre was fined £300.
John Robertson, 24, of Murray’s Court, Hay Street, Coupar Angus, admitted that on August 20 last year, at the junction of Commercial Street and Seagate, he possessed the Class A drug, while on bail.
Solicitor Mike Tavendale said Robertson had been given the drug by a friend while on a birthday night out. He said he had never got near using it and had never taken it before.
