Brian Morrison, 45, of the Lily Walker Centre, Ann Street, had sentence deferred after he admitted attempting to bite a police officer on the body.
Morrison admitted that on January 31, at the Jam Jar public house, Whitehall Street, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm and acted in an aggressive manner, struggled with Dale Murray, repeatedly refused to leave and re-entered the premises, having been escorted out.
He further admitted that on the same date, at police HQ, Bell Street, he assaulted PC Rory Duncan and attempted to bite him on the body.
Solicitor Anika Jethwa said Morrison was currently subject to a community payback order.
Sentence was deferred until March 7 and he was remanded in custody.
