A man who chose to go to work instead of attending for unpaid work on a community payback order was given an extra 100 hours by Sheriff John Rafferty.
Simon Rattray, 33, of Drumlanrig Drive, admitted breaching his order.
Solicitor Doug McConnell told the court Rattray had been offered employment and foolishly chose to take it up without informing social workers.
The order had been imposed after he admitted acting in an intimidating manner towards his partner Cara Jordan at her home in Dundee, attending there uninvited and repeatedly attempting to gain entry on October 14 last year.
