A Dundee man accused of stalking his ex-partner will face trial in April.
Christopher Bowman, 33, of Happyhillock Road, denies a single charge that he embarked on a course of conduct between September 6 and November 22 last year which caused fear and alarm to Shelley McDonald.
It is alleged that, at Balunie Drive, Balunie Avenue, Balluniefield Road and Balunie Terrace, he repeatedly attempted to contact her despite her intimating that the relationship was over, attended at her home address in Balunie Avenue uninvited and repeatedly struck the front door and window, stared at her while in his vehicle, exited the car and approached her on foot while she was in the presence of children, shouted and swore and acted in an aggressive manner, re-entered his car and pursued her to her parents’ address, and shouted and swore and challenged David McDonald, her father, to fight.
He will face trial on April 20 with an intermediate diet on April 3 and he was granted bail by Sheriff Linda Smith.
