A man who was jailed for 13 months last week has been given another prison sentence.
Colin Simpson, 24, a prisoner at Perth, was locked up after admitting driving at his father on a pavement in Clepington Road, then driving dangerously at excessive speed through various streets in Dundee.
Simpson appeared again at Dundee Sheriff Court on three charges and was jailed for a further 38 days, reduced from 150 days due to the time he has spent on remand but consecutive to his current sentence.
He admitted that he assaulted his former partner Hollie Cumming by butting her on the head, pouring a drink over her head, repeatedly punching her on the head, attempting to strike her with a child’s car seat and spitting on her head, all to her injury, at South Road on October 16 2016.
Simpson also admitted that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, entered the house uninvited, punched the bathroom door and damaged it, shouted and swore and made false allegations to social workers that Ms Cumming was inebriated and incapable of looking after her children at the same place on the same date.
He further admitted that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, repeatedly struck a window with excessive force, shouted, swore and uttered threats of violence and made threats to damage property and enter uninvited at Dens Road on October 27 2016.
