A woman has been placed on a restriction of liberty order for four months from 7pm- 7am after she admitted breaching a community payback order.
Margaret Young, 49, formerly of Morgan Street but now of Dall’s Lane, Brechin, failed to comply with social workers on the two-year order, which also included a three-month period under the supervision of the Mentoring for Women project.
The order was imposed after she admitted attempting to drive a car while unfit through drink or drugs in Catherine Street on August 22 2016. She also admitted failing to provide a urine sample at police HQ, in Bell Street, on the same date.
Both offences were committed while she was on bail. Young was also disqualified from driving for 33 months.
