The 17-year-old, of North Wellington Street, cannot be named for legal reasons. He denies assaulting a male, while acting with another, at North Ellen Street, on November 4. The charge alleges that the youth pursued the male, pushed him on the body and caused him to fall to the ground. He then allegedly repeatedly kicked him on the head and body, all to his injury. The teenager further denies assaulting a woman by pushing her on the body at the same location on the same date. His trial was fixed for April 24 at Dundee Sheriff Court. There will be an intermediate diet on April 3. This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website. For more information, read about our new combined website.
