Five people accused of threatening a man at gunpoint at a shopping complex have made a second appearance at Dundee Sheriff Court.
The four men and a woman appeared from custody and in private before Sheriff George Way.
Christopher McIntosh, 35, Claire McIntosh, 32, and Darren Thomson, 27 — all of Prosen Road, Kirriemuir — Michael McIntosh, 31, of Glenmoy Terrace, Forfar, and Rory Starkey, 22, of Restenneth Drive, Forfar, are alleged to have assaulted Reace Stewart at Strathmartine Shopping Complex, Strathmartine Road, on January 24.
They allegedly seized him by the body, prevented him from leaving their company, kicked him on the body, causing him to fall to the ground, presented a firearm or imitation firearm to his head and uttered threats of violence.
No plea was made by any of the accused.
The men were remanded in custody, Claire McIntosh was granted bail and they were all fully committed for trial.
