A man has been accused of sexually assaulting a police officer in a Dundee pub.
Craig Morrell, 47, of Camperdown Road, denies sexually assaulting the female constable on June 29 last year at the Downfield Hotel, also known as Doc Stewart’s, in Strathmartine Road in Kirkton.
Morrell’s solicitor John Boyle told Dundee Sheriff Court his client was pleading not guilty and Sheriff Derek Reekie set his trial for May 10, with an intermediate diet on April 12.
Morrell was released on bail on condition that he doesn’t attempt to talk to the witness without a solicitor being present.
