Liam Martin, 18, of Dunmore Street, Dundee, admitted taking and driving away a car without the consent of the owner.
He admitted the offence, which took place on September 9, at Dunmore Street.
He also admitted that on the same date, on Dunmore Street, Craigmore Street, Ashmore Street, Keswick Terrace, Ambleside Avenue and Beauly Avenue, all Dundee, and elsewhere unknown to the prosecutor, he drove a vehicle without insurance.
Martin further admitted that on the same date, on the same streets and being the driver of the vehicle, he failed to stop the car when required to do so by uniformed police constables Peter Kennedy and Sean Porter.
Martin was fined a total of £300.
