A man who admitted having a knife in a Dundee shop had sentence deferred until January 31.
Robert Gray, 35, of Dudhope Court, admitted stealing food from Lidl, South Ward Road, on October 3.
Thereafter, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, acting in an aggressive manner towards staff, repeatedly uttering threats of violence and struggling with staff.
He also admitted that on November 14 he stole cosmetics from Superdrug, Wellgate, while on bail.
He further admitted stealing Christmas decorations and toiletries from Home Bargains, Wellgate, on November 24, and, on the same day, stealing cards, stationary, an ornament and a toy from Card Factory in Murraygate before being found with a knife at Tiso, in Whitehall Crescent.
