Peter Whyte, whose address was given as Soapwork Lane House, Soapwork Lane, appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court. Twenty-four-year-old Whyte admitted that he entered an unsecure car parked in Allan Lane, beside Candle Lane, in the city centre on December 24. He admitted stealing a satellite navigation system and a cable, while on bail. Sentence was deferred until January 17. Whyte was granted bail meantime.
