A man has been accused of trying to break into his ex-partner’s home in Dundee.
Andrew Cussick, 32, of Lansdowne Square, is accused of sticking his head through a hole in a door and threatening the woman with violence during the alleged incident.
Cussick denies that on Wednesday, at Liff Crescent, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, repeatedly attended there uninvited, repeatedly shouted and swore, repeatedly struck a window with his hand or an unknown implement and attempted to gain entry, pushed his head through a hole in the front door and repeatedly uttered threats of violence.
He also denies assaulting his ex-partner, Caroline Murphy, by seizing her by the clothing, wilfully or recklessly destroying or damaging property belonging to another by kicking a door and a fence there, causing damage, all on the same date and at the same place.
Cussick further denies that on the same date, in Charleston Drive, he possessed heroin.
Sheriff Lorna Drummond granted Cussick bail with special conditions not to enter Liff Crescent and not to approach or contact or attempt to approach or contact Ms Murphy.
His trial was set for February 26, with an intermediate diet on February 1.
