Trial date was fixed for March 1, with an intermediate diet on February 10.
Grant Tierney is accused of causing or permitting Jacqueline Tierney to use the vehicle without insurance.
His case was continued without plea until January 9.
Elsewhere, Philip Whyte, 27, of Mains Drive, was fined £400.
