A woman has been accused of deliberately driving on to a city centre pavement and ramming three teenagers with her car, endangering their lives.
Prosecutors have alleged that 34-year-old Catherine Sutherland reversed her car and mounted the pavement, accelerating towards two 13-year-olds and a 15-year-old.
It is alleged that the car hit the teenagers and injured them.
Sutherland, of Ogilvie Street, appeared in private before Sheriff Scott Pattison at Dundee Sheriff Court on a petition alleging that she committed the offence at Reform Street on December 4.
She is accused of assaulting the youngsters while driving by reversing her vehicle, accelerating towards the pavement, mounting the pavement and driving towards the teenagers and colliding with them, to their injury and the danger of their lives.
Sutherland made no plea and was granted bail by the sheriff.
The case was continued for further examination.
