Kieran Cameron, 20, of Greendykes Road, was fined £250 and ordered to pay compensation of £500 after admitting throwing a plastic tumbler at his ex-partner.
Cameron threw the liquid-filled tumbler at Melissa Burnett, on March 12, at Liquid Nightclub, South Ward Road, striking her on the face, to her injury and permanent disfigurement.
Sheriff Alastair Brown also banned him from entering Liquid Nightclub for one year.
