A man who breached a bail order curfew and intended to commit theft at two properties in Dundee will be sentenced in the new year.
Jamie Stewart, 21, of Gilburn Place, Bo’ness, near Falkirk, admitted a series of offences when he appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Stewart admitted that on December 4, he was found in the curtilage of a property in Kirkstead Drive in circumstances whereby it may be inferred he intended to commit theft there.
He also admitted that on the same date, he was found in the curtilage of a property in Tweed Crescent, also in circumstances whereby it may be inferred he intended to commit theft there.
Stewart further admitted breaching a bail order curfew imposed at Airdrie Sheriff Court, whereby he was not at his home address between 7pm-7am on Tuesday December 5 and was instead in Charleston Drive in Dundee.
Sheriff Scott Pattison granted Stewart bail on December 6. He called for reports including a progress report on his existing community payback order and a restriction of liberty assessment.
The sheriff deferred sentence until January 3.
Not guilty pleas to two other offences of attempting to steal from a van in Yarrow Terrace and of stealing a moped from Tweed Crescent, both allegedly on December 5, were accepted by the Crown.
