Thirty-seven-year-old Dunbar admitted that on May 31, in Balgowan Avenue, he drove without insurance. He also admitted driving on the same date and at the same location while there was no MOT certificate in place for the car. Dunbar was fined a total of £400. *Jon McMurchie, 21, of Church Street, Newtyle, was fined £100 and had his licence endorsed with three points. McMurchie admitted that on Forfar Road, at Fountainbleau Drive on June 16, he drove at 50mph in a 40mph zone. *Neil Petrie, 49, of Back Street, Newmill, was fined £110 for driving at 52mph in a 40mph zone on Kingsway on June 17.
