A man who drove carelessly and attempted to undertake another car on a roundabout, while using a mobile phone, had sentence deferred at Dundee Sheriff Court for reports.
Jevin Wilkie, 24, of Dalrymple Terrace, attempted the manoeuvre at the roundabout on Clepington Road, where it meets Caird Avenue and Old Glamis Road.
He then drove closely behind the car and tried to overtake the same vehicle in the face of oncoming traffic.
The incident continued as the two vehicles approached traffic lights at Forfar Road and Clepington Road, on July 13.
Wilkie also admitted breaching bail by failing to appear in court on October 26.
Sheriff Tom Hughes deferred sentence until December 14, with Wilkie granted bail.
