Kyle Holt, 24, denies sending grossly offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing text messages to a woman and threatening to set her house on fire.
At Dundee Sheriff Court, Holt, of St Fillans Road, denied that between October 8 and October 10, at a house in Dundee, he sent text messages to her, uttered abusive and offensive remarks and repeatedly uttered threats to set fire to the home occupied by her and her child.
He further denied that on October 10, at St Fillans Road, he resisted arrest by PCs Daryll Plantinga and Lee Ford-Logie, repeatedly struck out with his arms, legs and head, struggled with them and caused all of them to fall against furniture, a wall and a door repeatedly, and causing injury to both police officers.
Trial was set down for December 7.
