Martin Szczerbinski, 29, of Baldovan Terrace, had sentence deferred.
Szczerbinski admitted breaching a bail condition by failing to sign in at police HQ on August 21.
He further admitted, on August 25, at Sutherland Crescent, while acting with another, he stole jewellery, a book, CDs and DVDs, a purse, a medal, an ornament, a bank statement and a game, while on bail.
Solicitor Theo Findlay told the court Szczerbinski was aware of the commitments to the court, however he had secured employment washing cars and chose to go to work as he was afraid he would not be able to fulfil his obligations to the court if he lost his job.
Sentence was deferred until November 29.
