Dundee man threw dog chain at door and pushed metal pole at police through letterbox

Kevin McHugh, 30, of Yarrow Terrace, admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at Yarrow Terrace on October 14.

He repeatedly refused to allow police officers entry, repeatedly uttered threats of violence towards them, repeatedly struck the front door and walls with a fork, repeatedly threw a dog chain at the door and attempted to force the officers to leave by pushing a metal pole at them through the letterbox.

Sentence was deferred until December 13.
