Man who threatened to take his own life brandished knife at Dundee Tesco worker and five cops

A man who brandished a weapon at a Tesco employee and threatened to harm himself had sentence deferred for reports.
Kevin Watson, 54, of Dunholm Terrace, admitted that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, attended at the home of his ex-partner Stephanie Morris, repeatedly banged on the door while in possession of a knife, self-harmed, repeatedly threatened to take his own life and lay down on the pathway and self-harmed at Dunholm Terrace on October 26.
He also admitted that he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, brandished a knife at Ross Whitton, an employee, threatened to self-harm and possessed a knife at Tesco, South Road, on the same date.
Watson further admitted assaulting five police officers and brandishing a knife at them at Dunholm Terrace, also on the same date.
Sentence was deferred until November 29 for reports.
