A man who was found in possession of a torch with a pointed blade has been jailed for five months.
Andrew Cox, 38, of Finlarig Place, admitted that on October 9, at Union Terrace, he possessed a bladed torch, while on bail.
He also admitted that, on the same date and at the same place, he had tools including a jemmy, a knife, a torch and screwdrivers, whereby it could reasonably be inferred he intended to commit theft there.
