ByAlan Wilson
A youth has admitted committing a breach of the peace at Dundee’s Overgate Centre.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted that on October 26, at the shopping centre, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, shouted and swore at security guards Marc McIntyre, Shabir Ahmed and Stephen Chalmers, while on bail.
The youth, who lives in Lochee, was granted bail while the case was adjourned for reports.
Sheriff Kevin Veal also ordered a restriction of liberty assessment to be carried out and deferred sentence on him until November 22.
