Man, 47, found guilty of assault at Dundee flats block

James Fairfield, 47, of Seagate, has been found guilty after trial of assault and breach of the peace.
Fairfield had sentence deferred by Sheriff Alastair Carmichael for reports and a restriction of liberty order assessment following the conviction by a jury.
The jury found him guilty of, on March 25 2016, at Magnum House, Seagate, behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, shouting, swearing and acting in an aggressive manner.
He was also found guilty of assaulting Lindsay Watson in the course of his employment by attempting to strike him on the body.
Sentence was deferred until November 24 and he was granted bail.
