Dundee man due in court after being ‘found in woman’s house’

A man is due to appear in court today after being arrested and charged with allegedly breaking and entering with the intention to steal.

The 40-year-old is alleged to have broken into the houses in Earn Crescent, Menzieshill before being found in a woman’s house in Mallaig Avenue.

A statement from Police Scotland read: “Police Scotland can confirm a 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged with theft by finding from a close in Earn Crescent, and also for being found within a house in Mallaig Avenue in circumstances where it can be reasonably inferred he had intention to steal.

“He was kept in custody and is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.”
