Man, 61, found jacket in Dundee barber shop and stole it
ByAlan Wilson
A 61-year-old man was told by a sheriff that he faced the possibility of a custodial sentence when he appears in court next month.
Peter Ryan, of Ann Street, admitted that he found a jacket and contents and stole the jacket, at A Class Barbers, Union Street, on September 16.
He also admitted attempting to contact Karen McManus, his ex-partner, by attending at her home and entering the garden, knocking on the door and attempting to open the door.
Sheriff Derek Reekie deferred sentence until November 22 for reports, telling Ryan: “You should take no comfort that a custodial sentence will not follow just because I am releasing you on bail now.”
