A woman who stole a number of valuable items has been ordered to serve 445 days in prison.
Stacey Rice, 36, committed the thefts in the space of just five days at four separate properties in Dundee.
The city’s sheriff court heard the occupants of some of the homes were inside as Rice stole their goods.
It was revealed Rice, a prisoner at Saughton, had been struggling with a drug problem at the time of the offences.
She firstly stole a box containing prescription medication, a jar of coffee and alcohol from a property in Main Street on April 23.
The next day, Rice made off with cheese, several candles, a pair of jeans, a packet of tobacco, a watch, a store gift card and cash from an address in Arklay Street.
She also stole a tablet, a broadband box, a purse, a bank card, store card, bus pass, money and jewellery on the same day in Church Street.
Four days later, in North Ellen Street, Rice swiped a necklace, a bottle of perfume and makeup.
All of the offences were committed while she was on bail.
Rice wept in the dock as Sheriff Alistair Carmichael jailed her for nine months.
Prior to this coming into force, she must serve 170 days of an unexpired portion of a prison sentence that she was previously given.
