Craig Tosh, 43, and Natalie Finnon, 39, had a trial date set for next year.
Tosh, a community police officer in Ardler, denies that on various occasions on December 18, at the G Casino, West Marketgait, and at Bash Street, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, repeatedly shouted and swore, acted in an aggressive manner, threatened violence to and repeatedly challenged to fight Greig Hamilton and Steven Zielinski, and acted aggressively towards and challenged police officers to fight.
He also denies, on various occasions at the same places, assaulting PC James Buchanan by repeatedly pushing him on the body; at West Marketgait, resisting arrest by four officers trying to handcuff him, struggling violently, repeatedly shouting and swearing, threatening them with violence and attempting to fight them, attempting to break free and refusing to enter a police vehicle; assaulting PC Kieran Bradley by grabbing him by the clothing; and assaulting PC Buchanan by lunging at him with clenched fists, attempting to butt him and threatening him with violence.
Finnon denies that on various occasions on the same date, at West Marketgait, she behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm and acted aggressively, repeatedly shouted and swore at police officers and uttered threats towards them all, and attempted to prevent Tosh’s arrest.
A trial was fixed for February 20 with an intermediate diet on January 30.
