A woman who admitted assaulting a child was admonished at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Carrie Anne Murdoch, 37, admitting pushing the child on the body at an address in Dundee on October 8 2016.
The court heard Murdoch was involved in an exchange with the child after the child was involved in antisocial behaviour in the street.
Murdoch pushed the child against a nearby wall and when the child returned home upset, its mother called the police.
Full admissions were made by Murdoch during a police interview and she said she had “lost her temper”.
Lawyer Theo Finlay said Murdoch had been “driven to distraction” by the child’s behaviour over a number of months and apologised to the court for her actions.
Murdoch was admonished by Sheriff Tom Hughes.
