Dundee man admits seizing his partner by neck, restricting her breathing
ByAlan Wilson
A Dundee man who admitted abusing his partner had sentence deferred at the city’s sheriff court.
Kevin McDonnell, 27, of Fintry Road, admitted that on February 17 he assaulted Charlene McComiskie, kicked her on the body, seized hold of her by the neck, compressed her neck and caused her breathing to be restricted, to her injury.
He also admitted that on May 15 2016, at Cleghorn Street, he possessed a knife, and, on the same date and at the same place, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm, shouted and swore, and challenged others to fight.
Sentence was deferred until next Thursday by Sheriff George Way with McDonnell being granted bail.
