Aaron Wallace, 33, of Lawson Avenue, Forfar, admitted wasting police time by claiming he had been stabbed and giving false details after an incident in Dundee.
At the city’s sheriff court he admitted that on January 9, at Gilston Place, he wasted police time by telling them he had been stabbed with a knife, and telling them his name was Paul Davies, he was bleeding and needed an ambulance, and deprived the public of their services, while on bail.
He also admitted uttering racially abusive remarks at the same place on the same day, behaving in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause fear or alarm and repeatedly shouting and swearing, while on bail.
He further admitted a charge of uttering abusive remarks and threats of violence in a police vehicle on January 3. Sentence was deferred until November 3.
