James Jackson, of Deveron Crescent, has been banned from driving for 18 months after he admitted driving offences at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Jackson admitted that on July 29, in the city’s Loons Road, he drove a vehicle while disqualified and without insurance.
The 30-year-old further admitted attempting to pervert the course of justice by giving false details to police on the same date and at the same location, when he told officers that he was Shaun Jackson, aged 34, of Haldane Place.
Sheriff Alastair Brown disqualified Jackson from driving for 18 months and he was also sentenced to a community payback order with a condition that he carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.
