A Dundee teenager who assaulted a 15-year-old male was placed on a community payback order.
Benjamin Cameron-Malloch, 19, of Melfort Place, Trottick, admitted at the city’s sheriff court that on April 7, at Quality Street in Gauldry, Fife, he assaulted the youth by pushing him on the body, causing him to fall to the ground and then repeatedly punched him on the head to his injury.
The sheriff court heard the attack took place after Cameron-Malloch had approached the youth and another youngster and confronted them, asking what they were doing. He then punched the teen on the body and six times on the head.
Solicitor Ross Donnelly said his client had been receiving harassment from the two youngsters beforehand.
Cameron-Malloch must do 40 hours’ unpaid work.
