A man has gone on trial accused of murdering two people at a house in Dundee.

Robert Stratton, 42, denies murdering Julie McCash, 43, and David Sorrie, 32, at Drumlanrig Drive on February 26 as well as two other charges of attempted murder and assault.
Lawyers acting for Stratton entered a not guilty plea to all charges at the High Court in Edinburgh.
Stratton, a prisoner of HMP Grampian, claims he acted in self-defence.
It is alleged by prosecutors that Stratton murdered Ms McCash by striking her on the body with a knife. He further denies assaulting Mr Sorrie by running towards him while brandishing two knives and attempting to strike him on the body with the knives.
Stratton allegedly pursued him, struck him on the body with a knife and murdered him.
The Crown also alleges Stratton assaulted his partner, Lee Kinney, on various occasions at a property on Drumlanrig Drive.
Stratton additionally denies assaulting Wendy McKinney by running towards her while brandishing two knives and attempting to strike her on the body with the knives and attempting to murder her.
The trial continues.
